Hi! I'm Addie.
I'm an artist, writer, and teacher in Alaska's Mat-Su Valley.
Here are a few things I'm currently excited about and into:
cut & paste...
I am into paper sculpture and analog collage. I like to use found and repurposed materials as much as possible in my paper work, playing with light and color. You can check out some of my exhibited work here and some of my day-to-day explore-iments on Instagram.

color & chaos
Paint is scrumptious, paint is a miracle, and paint is packable on a hike. I am into watercolor, acrylic, and powdered tempera, and I tend to juggle or combine those and other mediums with paper as part of my exploriments and process. Check back here for art-related updates. If you're interested in browsing original pieces and prints, you can find those here, when available.
clay & cuteness
I began working in ceramics in 2020 and quickly fell in love with the process, start to finish. I create and sell unique paint palettes and mini watercolor painting kits. To see examples of my work and to find out what is in stock, please visit the shop. I also stock palettes bi-annually exclusively at Non Essentials in Palmer, Alaska. Shoot an email to addiestudebaker@gmail.com to discuss custom orders.

neat people doing
neat things
I'm excited about art, as well as agriculture & local food movements in AK. My work has been published in Edible Alaska, Alaska Magazine, FORUM, and others (articles listed here).
